Tim Annable, old for a person young for a ham. I activate parks on CW, voice, and digital modes, and write software for the hobby to make hams' lives easier.

Most of what I do on the air is Parks on the Air — 1,156 activations across 208 parks so far, a mix of CW, voice, FT8, and other digital modes. When I'm not out at a park I'm usually with my family, camping, off-roading, or golfing.

The software side started with my own workflow: I wanted logging and radio programming to take fewer steps, so I built the tools to do it — and once they were saving me the trouble, it seemed worth sharing them. That turned into ADIF Editor and Codeplug Magic, both of which I use for my own operating before anyone else sees them. Most of the rest of what I run at a park or on the bench was written by another ham, and after relying on other hams' software it felt right to contribute something of my own to the hobby.

Professionally, I spent 25 years as a systems engineer and now work in commercial real estate — I'm the Managing Broker at Colorado Commercial.
